Hotel Tanum Gestgifveri - Tanumshede

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The location was perfect, situated between other stops on our trip and close to the E6 highway. The restaurant here was fantastic, offering a wide range of delicious dishes. The service was top-notch, with a friendly and helpful staff at the receptionist. We also appreciated the free welcome drink upon arrival. The room amenities were excellent, including heating and air conditioning, a comfortable sitting area, and a terrace with garden furniture. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great bonus, allowing us to stay connected during our stay.

We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I was staying 1 night just to sleep after a long trip from Norway. The location for me of this reason was real good.

Water was running from the toilet so the floor was totaly wet. I missed dark curtains to cover the window.

Location, decorations, furniture, professional and helpful staff, quality breakfast, bikes to rent available on site, free coffee/tea and cake at any time of the day.

Bed linen/sheets should be ironed.

Staff was very kind, helpful. Buffet breakfast was very delicious. In the afternoon there was free coffe or tea with cake in lobby.

it was said on Booked.net website there is internet acccess in every room but it worked only in lobby.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were charmingly decorated with a comfortable public area between our rooms to accommodate our evening get gatherings. Our rooms had been redecorated recently and had up-to-date furnishings without losing the charm of the historic building.

No hair dryers.

We loved the charming hotel with its well-maintained facilities, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. The breakfast was fantastic with a great range of fresh bread and a lovely fruit basket. We also appreciated the free bicycle rental and the afternoon tea with delicious homemade treats.

Nice place in the countryside, very good service and a excellent atmosphere. The restaurant is intim and the oldest in Sweden, celebrating 350 years, the food/wine and service are excellent

The hotel was located between stops and had a fantastic restaurant with great food, according to guests. the breakfast was also highly rated and guests loved the free afternoon tea. Rooms had comfortable seating arrangements. Some rooms even came with free fruit baskets. One guest received a private tour of the restaurant after hours.

Some guests had bad experiences with restaurant staff who gave conflicting information about the restaurant's availability.

Comfortable, light and airy room. This is a family-owned and run property, and they take great pride in the condition and appearance of the hotel.

Bathroom was as small as a bathroom could be and still contain the necessities.

The atmosphere at the hotel was really cozy and intimate. We loved the antique decor and romantic ambience that the hotel offered. the breakfast was absolutely delicious and brought us a great start to each day. We also enjoyed the natural surroundings and the availability of outdoor activities in the area.

The hotel was quite far from all of the main attractions in the area. We ended up spending a lot of time traveling and driving in order to reach the sites we wanted to see.

The room and the bathroom were among the smallest we ever had in a hotel and yet at a price that you pay in world cities for usually beter service and more comfortable room

Pleasant family-run hotel, with good room service and usual Swedish breakfast. Good location if you want to see fishing villages and rock carvings. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
